Izabella is a creative, photographer and journalist, who recently graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She obtains a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication as well as a certificate in diversity and equity studies.
Izabella had past internships with PHOENIX magazine during her sophomore and junior year at The Cronkite School. She enjoys shadowing professional freelance photographers and coordinating with local businesses for the dining guide section, as well as features within both the physical and online versions of the magazine. She spent time with the team learning the in-and-outs of how the magazine industry works. This is where her interest for the magazine world began.
She spent the 2023 spring semester working for Cronkite News- the news division of Arizona PBS as a visual journalist. Izabella worked on numerous visual assignments where she was able to constructively grow her camera skills through one-on-ones with her directors and collaborate with other journalists.
Izabella’s believes her journalistic and creative purpose is to use her photography and journalism skills to produce and promote diverse, equitable, inclusive and honest journalism.
